This session was just to die for... the set we selected was absolutely perfect for the sensual, dimly lit boudoir photos we wanted, and her wardrobe gracefully fell into place with the setting. My favorite part of this session however, was Ms C's excitement and playfulness. Boudoir is such an empowering experience to feel like a super model for a day, and Ms C soaked it all in - we really could not ask for a better woman to work with! Thank you so much girl, for letting us share your amazing album photos!

The more I considered it, the more I thought of potential locations and poses that would help bring that sweet softness to the photos. Yes, Melissa and I specialize in boudoir, but more than that, we specialize in women. We took the leap into maternity boudoir, and we couldn't be more excited about the images Melissa captured for our first maternity session.... excited about challenging ourselves, excited about taking risks, and excited about growing as photographers.

]]> Tue, 31 Jul 2012 07:51:53 GMT In a suite at the beautiful Duke Mansion in Charlotte, NC, 4 girls sipped champagne and talked weddings, makeup, and reality TV. Lindsey Regan Thorne rocked it out with soft waves and smokey eyes for this sensual boudoir look.

We started the day with a gorgeous bridal session, followed up with some classic boudoir to give her husband as a wedding gift for their destination wedding in Costa Rica! A perfect afternoon with an amazing group of girls that I just adore!

When I first moved to Texas, she was the first girl I clicked with and we became fast friend. She has watched my business grow from nothing to what it is today, and she's been my #1 cheerleader along the way. We've shared our deepest secrets, fears, and dreams over one too many margheritas and I couldn't be more thankful to have such a strong support system in her. So when she got engaged to Shawn, I wanted to do something special that they'd both love! We started planning wardrobe, makeup, and came up with a plan to fool Shawn into thinking this was a normal girls night out. We dedicated an afternoon to her session with Melissa and I... complete with margheritas of course!

We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality who can carry a conversation with ease and make our clients comfortable during their session. You'll be responsible for styling the session with the client, photographing the session, and selecting the best images from the session. Ability to pose all body types in a flattering way is a must!

Qualifications:
Canon 50D or higher (or Nikon equivalent) camera body
Knowledge of flash/strobe techniques is preferred
Must carry liability insurance

So the Christmas season is upon us! And it's time to start thinking about that unique Christmas gift for her, AND for him! Indulge with a boudoir session album for him, or a boudoir gift card for her! We only have a few sessions left in the month of November in Houston and Charlotte, and we'll be traveling to New Orleans occassionally so feel free to drop a line just in case we'll be in town! We'll be closed for the month of December, but we'd LOVE to create a unique Christmas gift for you while we still can!

Ms K's boyfriend will be working abroad in South Korea for the next 2 years, and she snuck a boudoir album into his suitcase as a surprise when he arrives overseas! Her sister suggested sneaking in a veil to drop a little hint, and we think he got the idea! ;)

This set of vintage lingerie with pearls was a favorite of mine from Miss V's boudoir photography. It is such a perfect contrast to the traditional bright white bridal lingerie you so often see in the stores, and it's perfectly girlie and sweet. I just adore it!

Miss V came to me a *year* before her wedding date to get started on the gift she will give her hubby-to-be in January. We set up a three hour session, with Pam Green doing 2 looks for hair and makeup, and Melissa and I both photographing. Miss V brought a friend along, and the mimosas started flowing! :D

We had a blast! She brought about 15 outfits (accessories to match!) and we paired it down to our 10 favorites together. We did a sporty, a soft, a sultry, and a pinup look - some with dramatic lighting and some natural. The extra hour of shoot time allowed us to get a great variety of shots, and we're creating an over-the-top album to showcase her photos! This is one VERY lucky husband!!

Melissa and I both photographed this session, and the four of us sipped mimosas, exchanged stories, and laughed way too much!! Aly has the perfect expressions for pinup, and I looooooooved her outfits!! Luv ya Aly!! Can't wait to post your engagement photos over on the wedding website!
